Privacy Policy
Effective 10 June 2026 · applies to the WBTRK iOS app and to wbtrk.com
The short version: WBTRK collects no data. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. Your songs, themes, and settings are stored only on your device, and nothing you make in the app is ever transmitted anywhere unless you choose to share a file yourself.
What the app stores, and where
WBTRK saves your working song, your custom themes, and your settings (such as the selected theme) in the app's local storage on your device. This data never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes it.
When you export a song (.wbtrk), a theme (.wbttheme), or rendered audio (.wav), the file is created on your device and handed to the standard iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there — Files, AirDrop, a messaging app — is entirely your choice and happens under iOS's control, not WBTRK's.
What the app does not do
The app makes no network requests. It contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising frameworks, no social integrations, and no in-app purchases. It requests no permissions for your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos. It works fully offline.
Purchases
WBTRK is sold through the Apple App Store. Apple processes the payment and is the merchant of record; WBTRK's developer receives no personal or payment information about you from the purchase. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy. Refunds are handled by Apple through their standard process.
This website
wbtrk.com is a static informational site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, whose infrastructure may briefly process technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. This website's operator does not use that data.
If you email [email protected], your message and address are used only to reply to you. They are not added to any list, shared, or used for marketing.
Children
WBTRK is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no data at all, no personal information is collected from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have rights over personal data that an organisation holds about you. WBTRK holds none: there is no account to access, correct, export, or delete. Everything the app knows lives on your device and is under your direct control. If you believe this policy is inaccurate in any way, please get in touch.
Changes
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy — for example, adding an online feature — this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the effective date above revised.
